HOW ironic! The residents of Wyre Forest are to be asked their opinions regarding the proposed new school catchment areas, in yet another formal consultation period.
If the views of Wyre Forest residents are held in such high esteem why are Stone, Lea Street and St Barnabas first schools all closing in August 2007? There was much local support to keep them schools open.
If I remember correctly there was also mass public opposition to the down grading of Kidderminster Hospital during the public consultation period. Where did that get us?
Why don't the county council stop trying to kid us that we have a say in local issues and just tell us what they are going to do? It would save a lot of time, money and heartache in the long term!
