WHAT happened at Leeds last Friday night has been a bitter pill to swallow!
We don't think we performed particularly well. Leeds showed great resolve and commitment and you have got to match that at least.
They showed they are a very committed side.
I have no doubt that Leeds will win some of their remaining games with the quality they have got. There are simply no bad sides in this league.
As for us, we just didn't perform. We didn't get a lot of things right. We have got to get back on a roll and as quickly as possible.
It was a bit morose on the way back from Leeds.
The best thing to do now is to raise everybody's spirit so that we hit the ground running when we return to the Premiership next Friday against London Wasps.
I expect to be fit for that match myself after returning to training this week. I have been able to play rugby again for the first time and I am keen to get back on the pitch now.
Despite what happened at Bristol, I won't be apprehensive. I don't think you can afford to play rugby like that and the moment you do, your game suffers.
I have had enough injuries to know when you are ready to come back. I am pretty confident and the rehab has gone really, really well.
I couldn't have asked for better support and it has helped me to hit the ground running.
If you can't motivate yourself for Wasps at home, you will never be able to. It is going to be a massive game for us and everybody will remember what happened in this fixture last year.
They had a great win at the weekend and we will be expecting a big battle. It is going to be very interesting.
I know we have lacked a bit of focus recently but I am certain the guys will be up for it. Apart from anything else, we want to perform for the supporters, who have had to watch us lose our last three Premiership games at Sixways.
I wouldn't say that we are worried about the position that we are in, but we are well aware that the pressure is on.
Because of injury, I've had the chance to watch a lot of rugby lately and I thought it was an unbelievable performance by Scotland to beat England in the Six Nations.
They showed just what a bit of commitment can do, although it was obviously hugely disappointing from an England point of view.
It is bad for England but great for the Six Nations. It is difficult to see how it is going to pan out and you certainly wouldn't bet on it.
