GALLERY Encore, the Everyman Theatre's exhibition space, is going coastal with a brand new showcase of work which runs until Saturday, April 8.
Cheltenham-based artist Chris Hoggett is exhibiting his range of exquisite watercolour landscapes and seascapes.
"The configuration of the seashore and cliff, the weathered rock and movement of sand with sea have all contributed to this retrospective exhibition of seascapes which span some 20 years," said Chris. "I have a special interest in the Jurassic coast of Dorset and the Carboliverous Limestone of the Gower."
As well as being a respected artist, Chris is also a teacher and author, having written a book on theatre design. His new book The Joker is an illustrated work on therapeutic art and will be published in October 2006.
Chris has held five exhibitions over the last 12 months in local galleries and hospitals and his work is held in many private collections.
Gallery Encore can be found in the Everyman's County Bar and entrance is free.
