CARL Shaw pocketed the highest break of the Nationwide Doors and Windows Worcester Invitation League.
But the Stephen's 'G' player's team went down 3-2 to St John's 'L' in Division One, despite his fine 49 break.
St John's fellow relegation candidates GWR 'A' also had a good win at St Stephen's 'D'.
Hallow 'A' and Pershore 'B' earned bonus Points at the top of the table, while second-placed Heenans 'A' were away on Dolphin Cup duty.
In Division Two, life at the top is proving interesting with five teams still in with a chance of the second promotion place.
Hallow 'B' hold a 12-point lead at the top but only five points separate the next five places.
