A STUDLEY woman is bringing fashion from a bygone era to the Midlands with the start of the first Vintage Clothes Fair in Moseley this weekend.
Jeanette Laight is starting the market with business partner Geoff Waldron, aiming to provide vintage clothing for fashion followers in the area, starting on Saturday and then every fourth Saturday of each month.
The pair met at London's trendy Portabello Road Market, where they both hold their own vintage clothing stalls regularly and decided to work together to cater for the demand for such garments.
The fair will host exclusive fashion collections, ranging from 1920s to 1980s, with one-off rare pieces and unique items.
Clothing for women and men will include including jeans, jackets, tops and bottoms and accessories such as hats, bags and belts.
The Vintage Clothes Fair will be held at Moseley Community Centre, The Post Office Building, Alcester Road, Moseley from 10am-4pm.
