BUS users are being urged to think back to the end of January when a driver had £140 of takings snatched.
Police are appealing for information following the theft from the 57 People's Express bus on Friday, January 27, at about 4pm.
The driver stopped the bus in Winyates Way after an unknown person threw a stone at the vehicle, smashing a window and showering passengers with glass.
While he was outside the vehicle, a passenger stole a bag containing the cash from behind the driver's seat and ran off.
The driver chased him but he escaped, running towards Dolben Lane.
The thief was white, 5ft tall and aged 18-20. He had short brown hair. He was with another man who wore a black hooded jacket.
Anyone with information should call police on 08457 444 888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
