MEMBERS met at Malt Mill Lane Community Centre for the February meeting

President Pauline Vining welcomed them and two visitors from Aston Cantlow WI, one of whom was to be the speaker for the evening , Nicki Chatterton, and the other, Gwen Comfort, her assistant.

Nicki gave a most interesting talk on traditional acupuncture and demonstrated on Gwen.

Nicki told members how she had been a diabetic nurse for 16 years and on a visit to America had discovered how acupuncture could help diabetics as well as many other health problems.

After lengthy and expensive training, she has now set up her own clinic in Warwick.

Members also held a silent auction in aid of the Pakistan earthquake appeal organised by Irene Humpreys and June Escott.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, March 9, at 7.30pm and the speaker will be Rev Jim Symonds on My Years as an Army Chaplain.
