COMPETITION judges who labelled Studley "sad and neglected" last year will be advising residents of the improvements that can be made in time for the 2006 contest.
Studley in Bloom organiser Justin Sayer is inviting villagers to talk to one of the Heart of England in Bloom competition judges at the village hall on Tuesday from 2pm. Last year, Studley was criticised by the contest's representatives.
Mr Sayer said: "The main criticism was that there are a few derelict areas, which have a lot of weeds. They also commented on the amount of litter everywhere."
He added: "We want to see as many people at the meeting as possible, the more the merrier."
