POOL aces Marc Evans and Andy Jones missed out on a place in the European Eight-Ball Pool Championship semi-finals by just one frame.
The duo, who practice at Suzy Q's in Shrub Hill, were part of the five-man Wales 'B' team for the event which was held in Bordeaux, France.
Evans, who is from Worcester, and Malvern-based Jones helped their team to a fifth-place finish in the group stages. However, this meant they did not qualify for the semi-finals by the narrowest of margins.
The duo also fared well in the individual event, with Jones reaching the competition's last-16 and Evans the last-32.
They have also been selected for the World Eight-ball Championships, which are set to take place in Blackpool fromJune 5-15.
