remember morals
SIR - H F Morris states in your letters page that there is no difference between members of the public and Members of Parliament as regards being "gay".
The point to be made is this - The MPs in question lied to and misled the people who voted for them. It's not a question of them being homosexual, it's a question as to whether they can be trusted to be honest within elected parliament when they evidently do not hold high morals outside the House.
At least one of the Lib Dems who disgraced them-selves over the last couple of months cheated on his wife with a young homosexual man. Not the morals of a Member of Parliament in my view!
