FLY-HALF Tim Streather and full-back Charlie Fellows have been picked for the Midlands Under 18 squad for the final divisional match of the season against the North at Castlecroft in Wolverhampton on Sunday (2pm) despite being promoted to the England Under 18 training squad.

Streather (Chase High School, Malvern and Worcester) and Fellows (King's School, Worcester and Worcester) impressed selectors in the Midlands' victory over the South West at Bridgwater three weeks ago.

Centre Andrew Robinson (Prince Henry's HS, Evesham and Worcester) also shone when he came on as a replacement against the South West and he has been given a final chance to impress the watching England selectors. Robinson will start against the North on Sunday.

Flanker Cameron Law (Old Swinford Hospital) and number eight James Ranson (King's School, Worcester and Worcester) have also been promoted to the starting line-up in a back-row reshuffle enforced by injury to Ian Saxelby and the unavailability of Joe Allen.

The other North Midlands player in the Midlands' starting XV is loose-head prop James Heath (Adams GS and Whitchurch).

Scrum-half Dan Matthews (Ellesmere College and Whitchurch), centre Tom Hupfield (Bromsgrove School) and full-back Michael Penn (Bromsgrove School) have all been named as replacements.

Apart from Streather and Fellows, five more North Midlands players have already been included in England's training squad to prepare for internationals in the Home Unions Tournament, which will be staged in Gloucestershire, and the AER Championships, which will be played in the Treviso region of Italy, both in April.

They are prop Joel Diggins (Bromsgrove School and Worcester), flanker Matt Cox (Worcester Warriors), fly-half George Crook (Bromsgrove School and Worcester), winger Miles Benjamin (King Edward's School, Birmingham) and hooker George Thomas (Bromsgrove School and Luctonians).
