Partygoers at Tramps nightclub in Worcester have helped raise over £3,000 for St Richard's Hospice.
Marilyn Peachey, St Richard's director of fund-raising, was delighted to receive the donation from club owner, Derek Holder.
Mr Holder said: "We're thrilled everyone got into the spirit of putting the fun into fund-raising and had a great time raising money for such an important local charity."
Mrs Peachey added: "Now our new hospice is set to open in the autumn, we need to raise £2.8m each year to provide all the care for patients and their families living with cancer and other life-threatening illness.
"Donations from the community like this are essential to St Richard's to ensure our specialist care is available for all those who need it at a very difficult time in their lives."
Building work is well under way on the new St Richard's Hospice near County Hall, which will include all the current services and 15 urgently needed specialist beds.
