New partner

Rebecca Widdowson has been made a partner with the Worcester law firm Hallmarks.

A former trainee with the company, she left to work in Birmingham but then returned to Hallmarks five years ago.

During that time, Mrs Widdowson has developed the civil litigation department and was appointed its head in December 2004.

She now deals with a wide variety of work including the challenging field of commercial litigation, contract disputes, construction disputes, planning appeals, contentious probate claims, professional negligence claims and disputes between farmers and fertiliser manufacturers.

Mayor's visit

THE Mayor of Droitwich, Councillor Richard Morris, recently paid a visit to mobility company, Willowbrook, which is based at the town's Hampton Lovett Industrial Estate.

Coun Morris said: "When I was appointed Mayor it was one of my aims that I would visit as many local companies as possible.".

Willowbrook is now in its 10th year of trading and employs more than 100 people. It offers solutions to people a wide range of mobility problems.
