MISS Marple wannabees have been invited to solve some gruesome murders on Kidderminster's Severn Valley Railway.
Would-be sleuths can hop aboard the scene of the crime - an SVR Edwardian steam train - at eight upcoming murder mystery evenings.
Victims might be shot, strangled or poisoned during the events, which start on March 4 and run until November.
Passengers enjoy a three-course dinner while the murder is staged by an acting troupe and then have the time it takes to travel from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth and back to work out whodunnit, with prizes awarded to the best detectives.
Past events have sold out quickly, according to SVR marketing manager, John Leach.
He said: The atmospheric mix of a steam train at night, a balcony seat at the theatre and a sumptuous three-course dinner seem to be irresistible."
