WORCESTERSHIRE County Football Association are holding a series of refereeing courses to address the shortage of match officials in mini-soccer and 11-a-side football.
The mini-soccer courses are run over two evenings with referees receiving a certificate upon passing a multi-choice exam in the second session.
People wanting to become 11-a-side referees must attend an eight-week course on consecutive Fridays.
They will be assesed on the laws of the game and as part of the practical element of the course will take charge of matches and analyse video footage of refereeing decisions.
After two exams, successful candidates will receive a certificate and be registered as level seven or eight referees.
Mini-soccer course: March 13, 14 or August 10, 11 or November 9, 10, from 7pm.
11-a-side refereeing course: Eight Fridays from March 17, 7pm - 9pm.
The minimum age for becoming a referee is 14. The course take place at Worcestershire FA headquarters, De Salis Drive, Hampton Lovatt Industrial Estate, Droitwich.
