CHURCH support group has said it with flowers for Operation Covert.
Busy members of St Mary's Flower Club at Harvington raise funds by decorating the village church with flowers for weddings and other services and functions.
Although they have only about a dozen active members, they have raised £10,000 in little more than three years for a new stained glass window for St Mary's and hope to have it installed this summer.
In addition, they have donated £3,500 to the church itself and have supported a number of other local causes, including the latest donation of £50 to Operation Covert.
Shuttle/Times and News editor, Clive Joyce, said: "These ladies work so hard to raise money and it is so kind of them to think of our appeal when they have so many other calls on their funds. It is another example of how Operation Covert has touched the hearts of Wyre Forest people."
