UNLIKE most football managers who perennially complain about intensive fixture schedules, Mark Yates is bemoaning Kidderminster Harriers' lack of a game on Saturday.
Harriers have a free weekend because Grays Athletic are still in the FA Trophy -- the competition they eliminated Yates' team from -- and their Nationwide Conference clash has had to be re-arranged.
Following Tuesday's 1-0 home win over Crawley Town, Yates was itching for another game so his side can attempt to put a run of form together.
He said: "We've not got a game this weekend which will give us a bit of time to get a few injuries back, but I'd rather have a game. After a win you want to get on with the next game and get a bit of momentum going."
Yates was also pleased to see some of his side's hard work on the training ground pay off against Crawley.
He said: "I'm encouraging them in training to express themselves and you saw that with the goal. Simon Russell has done a little bit of magic and rifled one in the top corner."
