AT the February meeting, Richard Perrin, chairman of Bewdley Civic Society, gave a talk on a trip down the River Severn by canoe, from Upper Arley to Bewdley. His illustrated talk contained photographs from the early 20th century to the present day.
The spring group meeting will be held at St Michael's Village Hall on March 16, when Stella Mitchell will speak on "Land of lost content", and the competition will be something from childhood.
The next meeting will be on Monday, March 13 at Mamble Village Hall, starting at 7.30pm.
Alan Peace will talk about Himley Hall - past, present and future. The competition is for a limerick or a poem on "spring" and there will be a trading stall.
