Monday, February 13: Meeting with Town Clerk & Manager of Almonry Museum to short-list candidates for vacant posts. Early afternoon met with Mr. Paul Bates, temporary Chief Executive of South Worcs. PCT to exchange views on health care in Evesham. In the evening chaired Town Council meeting.
Tuesday, February 14: Attended Rotary Club luncheon at which speaker was Acting Divisional Commander Rod Reynolds of West Mercia Police.
Joined over 60 guests for a Valentines Dinner at Raphael's Restaurant. Good food, company and a very enjoyable evening in aid of my charities.
Wednesday, February 15: Replenished stock at Evesham Hospital shop.
Early evening attended a PCT consultation on amalgamation of Primary Care Trusts at Civic Centre, Pershore before travelling back to Evesham to launch Evesham as a Fair Trade Town in the Town Hall.
Thursday, February 16: Enjoyed a fun day with our grandson.
Friday, February 17: Attended the Midlands Section of the Showman's Guild luncheon at Sutton Coldfield. Excellent venue, meal and friendship.
Saturday, February 18: Thoroughly enjoyed some Glenn Miller & Frank Sinatra music at the John Wood Big Band concert at Evesham Arts Centre. Great local talent.
Sunday, February 19: Spent time with our family.
