HOCKEY: Redditch Ladies romped to a 6-3 win at Droitwich to claim three vital points.
With the whole squad on top form, Redditch played fast flowing hockey and three goals in the first half was a just reward for their effort.
Player of the match Becky Southwell set Redditch on their way after 15 minutes and then doubled the lead five minutes later.
Captain Jo Stafford added her name to the scoresheet before the break with Droitwich reducing the arrears on the stroke of half-time.
Liz Thomson netted twice and although the home side tried to claw their way back into the game, it was the visitors who claimed the win with Emma Preston completing the scoring.
Redditch are at home to Tenbury on Saturday (3pm).
