I wonder if any of your readers have noticed the annual outbreak of "Botulinus Constructivitis" that has returned to plague us again.

The first visible symptoms are spots alternating between red, amber and green. These are followed by partial or severe arterial congestion. This year, Malvern and district appears to have had a particularly bad attack. The disease appears to be endemic all year round, but rises to epidemic proportions every year at about this time.

The body corporate builds up reserves over the year; they are dissipated by this ghastly disease in the early spring. It is not cosmetic surgery that is needed, but major arterial reconstruction. What a pity we seem never to be able to clear up the plague of permanent congestion. Many more resources are devoted to curing these ills in other parts of the country!

Never mind, as soon as April comes, the outbreak should be over.
