I attended the Chase High School for five years and for those five years I had to go through the risky business of crossing Poolbrook Road every morning. A year or two ago, the issue was raised at the school that there should be a crossing built on Poolbrook Road because the road was dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. This was brought to the school's attention after a young girl was knocked over on her way home from school.
I simply cannot see why such a simple issue has not therefore been resolved. Traffic problems may occur, but a five minute wait in your car for your child to get to school is better than another person's child not making it at all. Just get a move on and build the crossing!
