MALVERN Town consolidated their position at the top of the Midland Alliance table when they won 3-1 at Cradley Town last night.
Marc Burrow gave Town a 55th minute lead and another former Worcester City player, Mark Owen, made it 2-0 20 minutes later.
Cradley pulled a goal back in the 88th minute, but just a minute later substitute Duncan Willetts wrapped up the points for the Langland Stadium club.
Meanwhile, Westfields beat Hereford rivals Pegasus 3-2 after extra-time in the second round of the Herefordshire Floodlit Cup last night.
