BROMSGROVE RFC suffered their biggest defeat of the season as Luton routed them on Saturday
The Boars were ran ragged by an inspired Luton side that scored 11 tries.
Defeat is another disappointing blow for Bromsgrove, who have lost all of their 17 league matches and are firmly placed at the bottom of the table.
Director of coaching Iain Hall said: "The chemistry did not work on Saturday. It was a very disappointing result."
Bromsgrove had made a powerful start to the game and a try by Kent Summerfield and a penalty had put them ahead.
However, Luton stormed back in frightening style. John Lasbury (3), Mark Mansfield, Scott Walker all scored tries.
Richard Woodward's three penalties made it 31-10 at half time.
Unfortunately for Bromsgrove Luton did not let up the pace and James Pearce, Matt Yang, Mike Adeniya, Lee Anker and Liam Lancester touched down to pile the misery on the Boars. Bromsgrove did rally in the dying minutes of the game and Summerfield grabbed two consolation efforts late on.
