COFTON Falcons dug their claws into win a seven-goal thriller in the Bromsgrove Advertiser/Messenger League Division One.

Falcons edged Bromsgrove Town 4-3, with goals for Parkinson (3) and Phillips. McLeod (2) and Gaffney scored for Town.

Star and Garter stunned second placed Cofton Celtic 4-0, thanks to goals for Cleaver, Cartwright, Greenfield and Duggan.

Struggling Ringspanners stunned British Oak 4-1, with Baker, Clarkson and Birchley scoring. In Division Two Wychbold edged Rubery RBL 3-2, with Costa and Falcao (2) scoring for the victors.

Black Cross stunned Stoke Prior Sporting by beating them 6-4. Peplow, Morgan (3) and Collett scored for Cross, while Edward, Brown and Ward (2) were on target to Sporting. Payton bagged the only goal of the game as Navigation Inn defeated Victoria Barnt Green Reserves 1-0.

Lickey End Social were beaten 3-1 by Leisureline in Division Three, with Cashmore (2) and Speller on target.

Waseley United got the better of Nailers Arms 3-2, with Swadkins, Whitehouse and Strain scoring.

Dog and Pheasant beat Mettis Rovers 3-1, with Barnett, Houghton and Pepper on target. Church Hill United beat Bull Athletic 7-3 in the Birmingham County Vase.

In the WA Harris Cup Group B, Crabmill beat Victoria Barnt Green 4-2, while Bromsgrove General Reserves lost to Church Hill Reserves 3-1 in Group C.
