EST Malvern played their first game for three weeks in a rearranged game with Goodrest Sports and came out second best.
WEST MALVERN 0, GOODREST SPORTS 2
In a fairly even first-half, Matt Jacklin was unlucky with a header that went over the bar and Gareth Newton had two shots well-saved.
For the first ten minutes of the second-half, James Baylis performed heroics in goals but was finally beaten in the 60th minute. Although West Malvern continued to push forward looking for goals they were having very little luck.
Goodrest wrapped the game up in the 80th minute when a shot from the edge of the box was deflected past the stranded goalkeeper, James Baylis.
Once again, West Malvern are without a game tomorrow (Saturday), and on February 25 they entertain high-flyers Inkberrow. Players report to the dressing room 2pm.
West Malvern are sponsored by the Cross Keys and Amey.
