HIGH-flying teachers at Trinity High School have returned to the classroom to top-up their qualifications.
Maths teachers Rupert Segar and Nick Wynne and history specialist Caroline Godsell have all achieved Advanced Skills Teacher status following rigorous assessment.
Teaching assistant Emma Davies has also been furthering her education by studying for top level qualification.
She is also one of only two people on the country to gain a teaching assistant modern apprenticeship.
The Easemore Road school also has a handful of staff who are studying a range of extra-curricular courses from masters degrees to diplomas in first aid.
Headteacher Marian Barton said: "The school is proud of its record of staff training and development and has just had its designation as an Investors in People organisation which recognises the school's success in this area."
She added: "We are delighted that the high quality of work the staff does has been recognised and this can only be a benefit to the students in their studies."
