DROITWICH Dolphins Swimming Club came up against some strong teams when they finished fourth in the Worcester Winter League's second round.

The Dolphins faced stiff challenges from eventual winners Worcester A, Reddtich, Stourbridge and Broadway and finished fourth.

Robin Williams won the boys' under-15s 100 metres freestyle and came second in the backstroke race.

The only other victory came in the under-15s mixed freestyle relay, when the team comprising Fiona Watt, Robin Williams, Liam Ginty, Emma Houlston, Lauren Hall- Annison, and Nick Rimmington came out the winners.

Fiona Watt was second in the under-15s 100m freestyle, while Josh Deacon was second in the boys' under-11s 50m freestyle.

Alexander Llewellyn finished second in the girls' under-11s 50m freestyle, while Vicki Vaughan was second in the under-13s 100m butterfly. Ben Rimmington finished runner-up in the 50m breaststroke.

The 11-year-old relay squad of Georgina Buck, Alex Llewellyn, Rebecca Peake, Ben Rimington, Elliott Hall-Annison, Tom Hartwright and Josh Deacon were second in the medley and freestyle relays.
