BOB Britain of Bidford celebrates his 100th birthday listening to the gramophone hits of yesteryear played by Chris Wall.
Bob, a former butcher, shopkeeper and milkman, reached the milestone this month at the Bidford residential home.
He shared the day with members of his extended family, some of whom he had not seen for more than 30 years.
Staff at the Waterloo House care home organised a special party and also laid on entertainment with musical hits from the last century.
His son John said: "He's always been active for his age, taking on one of the milkrounds for my brother's dairy business until he was 80 and fundraising for Shipston's bowls team until the grand age of 90."
Staff at the home describe Bob as a real character who is always able to make people smile.
