ALCESTER'S musical Cuckoo Club may have filled the Greig many times over - but organisers are keen to see it fly to more nests.
Club events have been running successfully for the past four months, proving to be a sell out each time and giving visitors the chance to enjoy a host of new music and talent.
It is these abilities which organiser John Evans wants to harness in about 18 months time when he hopes to create a special "Alcester on Tour" concert.
Mr Evans said: "Our objective is to get together as many local artists, bands and choirs together that are good enough and want to participate.
"We want to show the rest of the county what a small town like Alcester or any other town for that matter can do if they get their act together."
He added: "Plans are for 2007 and it's going to be a world first - to be the first town ever to have an evening performance at Birming-ham's Symphony Hall."
The club is on the lookout for talent and urges anyone interested in getting involved to get in touch.
The next Cuckoo Club evening will be on March 24.
