ANDY Preece swaps pitch problems for a striker poser tonight as Worcester City bid to shatter Nuneaton Borough's home run at Manor Park (7.45).
Second-placed Borough are Nationwide North's only un-beaten side on home turf this season, providing the foundation to their strong promotion challenge.
Despite the daunting task ahead, in which Mark Danks is suspended, City should have no fears earning a shock result following recent away trips.
City boast three wins from four on their travels, a surprise 1-0 victory at Northwich Victoria the last of those successes.
And for Preece, tonight's re-arranged Midlands showdown provides welcome relief from playing on St George's Lane's worn surface for a third consecutive time.
The Worcester manager slammed his club's poor pitch after Vauxhall Motors ground out a goal-less draw on Saturday and demanded a resolution for next season.
Unsurprisingly, Preece an-ticipates a more open contest against Roger Ashby's men, but faces a striker dilemma with Danks banned.
The livewire striker, scorer of five league goals since joining from Forest Green Rovers last month, serves a one-match suspension after collecting five bookings.
Leon Kelly, a substitute in each of City's previous four games, is the likely replacement and should line up alongside Adam Webster.
"It will be a different game completely at Nuneaton," said Preece. "The onus is on them. We will be the ones on the back foot.
"We've shown what we can do away from home. We went to Northwich and knocked them back. It shows that if you have a go at teams, you can win games.
"You never know, we could end Nuneaton's run. We can beat anybody at any ground. That is the nature of this league. We will go there, have a go and see what happens."
Preece added: "We've got a few problems with injury and Mark Danks is suspended, so we are going there a bit thin on the ground."
Les Hines (calf), Graham Hyde (groin) and Liam Mc-Donald (ankle) are all unavailable, while doubts hang over the fitness of Dennis Pearce.
The experienced defender was substituted in the last few minutes against Vauxhall after feeling a slight hamstring twinge. Shabir Khan is on stand-by at left wing-back.
n City have reduced admission prices for their Worcestershire Senior Cup semi-final against Moor Green on Monday, February 27 at St Geo-rge's Lane (7.45). Prices for the tie are £5 adults and £2 concessions.
