RELEGATION-threatened Crawley Town come to Aggborough tonight desperate to pick up points to move away from the Nationwide Conference trapdoor (7.45).
And Kidderminster Harriers boss Mark Yates admits his team will face a tough task to emerge victorious with four players facing fitness tests for the clash.
Yates saw his side held to a 1-1 draw at Tamworth on Saturday, but was impressed with his players' approach to the game and feels a similar performance tonight would be rewarded with maximum points.
Crawley will be full of confidence when they step out onto the Aggborough pitch though. They picked up an important victory on Saturday with a 2-0 home win over Altrincham, who are one place above Harriers in the table.
Yates said: "Crawley got a good win on Saturday and its going to be tough for us tonight, but no games are easy in this league no matter who you're playing.
"We know they'll come fighting for their lives and they'll give us a battle, but at the same time they have some very good players -- like Daryl Clare and Tony Scully -- and we need to deal with them.
"But we believe in ourselves and hopefully we can get the three points."
Despite his side's precarious league position, Crawley striker Clare is upbeat about their chances of avoiding relegation this season.
Clare, who grabbed both goals as the Red Devils moved off the bottom of the table with their win against Altrincham, said: "We have three games this week, which is an opportunity to catch up with the rest of the teams.
"We have four games in hand on Scarborough and other teams like Canvey Island could get dragged in."
Yates is sweating on the availability of several key players and could be forced into fielding a weakened side if they fail late fitness tests.
Left-back Jonny Harkness and centre-half Daryl Burgess both missed the trip to Tamworth on Saturday and are still not fully fit. Michael Blackwood limped off at The Lamb with a knock that might keep him out, while Russ Penn is also struggling with 'flu.
Yates added: "Jonny and Daryl both have a chance of being fit and we are keeping an eye on Michael and Russ. If we are lucky, there is a chance they could all play."
