DROITWICH ended a run of three straight defeats with a hard-fought 24-15 victory at Marconi.
Marconi took the lead with a drop-goal but a try scored and converted by full-back Chris Hooper put the visitors into the lead.
The impressive James Davies went over after some good approach work by Droitwich forwards Richard Pedley and Paul Sweeney and Hooper scored a second after half-time, before veteran forward Jon Andrews finished off a flowing backs move.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Wheadon scor-ed a penalty with the last kick of the game as Luctonians edged out Kingswinford 13-12.
Andy Garrod scored the only try for Lucs and Wheadon kicked the rest of the points.
And North Midlands were edged out 32-27 by Warwickshire in their opening match in this season's RFU National Under-20 Championship at Broadstreet.
Worcester centre Perry Pudge and scrum-half Luke Ward both crossed over for superb individual tries.
