I FELT moved to reply to the letter (Your Letters, February 3), written by Jan Dyer, regarding recycling and the mention of purple and clear bags for this purpose, which have been referred to several times in your columns.
Being a Colwall resident, we reverted to Herefordshire Council when the split was made and have never had the pleasure or privilege of receiving the aforementioned bags. We receive just one black bag per week, which is more than adequate and while it doesn't really affect us, as we keep three small crates outside the kitchen door for tins, bottles and plastics, as we, like others, pay the Council Tax, why are Herefordshire residents being deprived of these? Maybe if they did receive them they would be more inclined to recycle
RUTH EDWARDS, Station Road, Colwall.
