THE manager of Malvern Job Centre, Nicholas Gilbert, was killed in a car crash on Wednesday.
Yesterday, the centre in Portland Road was shut and staff were too upset to talk.
Mr Gilbert, 46, of Mulberry Drive, Upton, was driving along the B4208 between the Three Counties Showground and Welland. The accident happened at about 4.40pm
His blue MGF convertible ended up on its side after the crash, in which no other vehicle is thought to be involved.

An ambulance crew rushed him to the accident and emergency department of Worcester Royal Hospital, but he was certified dead.
The road was closed until 10.25pm while police carried out investigations. Diversions were put in place.
A post-mortem is expected shortly, followed by the opening and adjournment of an inquest.
