THE average Band D Council Tax-payer in Malvern will most likely have to pay £1,308.91 next year.
Malvern Hills District Council's executive committee is meeting on Tuesday to discuss its budget.
It is set to recommend a Band D rate of £116.60, an increase of £2.28 or 1.99 per cent.
The largest element in the bill will be Worcestershire County Council's precept.
It does not set its budget until Thursday but is expected to set a 4.9 per cent increase, which will bring its Band D demand up by £42 to £899.
West Mercia Police Authority set its budget on Tuesday, upping its precept by 4.94 per cent, or £7.07, to £150.24.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Authority set its precept on Wednesday at £61.95, a 4.91 per cent jump.
Malvern Town Council has cut its precept by 10 per cent, and its estimated charge on a Band D home will be £56.40.
Other parish and town councils will set different precepts, according to their budgets.
Malvern Hills Conservators' Band D precept has increased by 66p to £24.72. This is paid by residents in Guarlford, Malvern, Malvern Wells and West Malvern parishes only.
