VENGEFUL Nick Colley wants to stuff Vauxhall Motors and give the Wirral side a taste of their own medicine.
Heated words were exchanged in Worcester City's dressing room following a wretched performance at Rivacre Park five weeks ago.
In one of their weakest Nationwide North displays, City were bashed, bruised and completely out of sorts, losing 1-0 when it was expected they would steamroller the struggling Motormen.
That proved to be Vauxhall's last league win as they have lost three games since to slump back to the bottom of the table.
Nice-man Colley is not one to talk nasty, but even he admits City are on a revenge mission to banish that disastrous result from the system.
"Personally, I want to give Vauxhall a stuffing," revealed the midfielder. "They out-fought us last time and showed us up a little bit. We were really weak on the night and now we owe them one.
"They won't relish coming down here and playing us. We are the form side and everybody knows it."
Landing 16 points from a possible 21 ahead of tomorrow's St George's Lane clash, Worcester have hit the sort of form which, if they maintain until the season's conclusion, will give them an excellent shout of reaching the play-offs.
Toppling promotion chasers Northwich Victoria last weekend represented a massive coup and they followed that up with an excellent 2-0 victory over Leigh RMI in mid-week.
Colley put the wheels in motion against the Railwaymen, netting his first home league strike this term, and the 31-year-old is desperate to add more goals as City chase fifth place.
He added: "I definitely want a few more goals. I said to the manager at the start of the season that I would like to weigh in with 10.
"That's still possible if we continue this run and I keep playing. That would be great, but I don't mind so long as we win games at this stage of the season.
"We've got one eye on the play-offs, but it's hard to say if we will make it, because we are so up and down."
Worcester's defensive record holds up against the very best -- shipping just five goals in their last 10 league games, including five clean sheets, and Colley believes the rear-guard deserves credit.
He added: "The defence was outstanding against Leigh, as they were against Northwich, and I will take the opportunity to say it.
"I would not want to play against our defence -- definitely not. We've got strength in depth there too.
"It leads from the back to the front. The front lads are working hard, so are the midfielders. We are slowly, slowly getting there. Collectively, we are a good squad. On paper, you would put our squad up there with most others in the league."
Player-manager Andy Preece is expected to field the same side that overcame Leigh in style, although options are available.
Leon Kelly and Shabir Khan are itching for re-calls, while Jai Stanley scored in Wednesday's 3-1 reserve win over Alfreton but a first-team return is probably another week away.
Striker Mark Danks starts before sitting out Tuesday's trip to Nuneaton through suspension. Les Hines (calf) and Graham Hyde (groin) are still out.
