LOTTIE Millington was a golden girl as Kidderminster's Samurai Judo Club had a slight change of sports to clinch 14 medals at the British Kurash Championships in London.
The Holy Trinity pupil won the U36 kilos category title, while clubmate Ryan Pitcock bagged no fewer than five medals, including two golds, a silver, a bronze and the overall fighting spirit award.
Kurash is a form of Russian wrestling which is quite similar to judo in some ways but there is no groundwork and it only uses throwing techniques.
In the junior girls, Millington's elder sister Amy took silver with a bronze in the youth section, where Ben Newbury also bagged bronze.
In the senior men, experienced black belts Keith Waldron and Rob Horner secured bronzes despite fighting much younger players.
Waldron and Horner were more at home in the veterans section with the former taking gold after a semi-final win over the latter who took bronze.
