WYRE Forest was well represented as the Worcestershire County netball under-16s enjoyed a slice of success at the West Midlands Junior Development League.
Local girls Sophie Gatehouse and Caroline Parks were instrumental as the A team finished third following their 18-16 and 30-7 wins over Birmingham in the final round of matches.
And Vanessa Partridge, Alicia Brighton and Phillipa Kulogowski played an important part as the B team won their league following a 36-35 win in their title decider with Warwickshire.
Other players - A team: Kimberley Simpson, Kate Maddison, Ella Turpitt, Nicola Wilkinson and Hannah Jones; B team: Emma Musgrove, Emma McLaren, Anna Pykett, Abigail Sands, and Alice Brown.
Coaches Karen Moore and Jo Edwards praised the teams for their hard work and commitment.
