MORE than 150 businesswomen attended a Valentine's evening in Worcester city centre organised by law firm Harrison Clark.
The event at Epic Bar Brasserie saw some relaxed networking, as the women pampered themselves having their make up done by Clarins professionals and experimented with new hair styles courtesy of the Clip Joint.
A chocolate fountain, jewellery displays, leather handbags, drinks and canaps added to the night's success.
Inger Woolhouse, a partner in Harrison Clark's business services team, said: "Nearly half of the partners in our firm are female, and with so many lady clients and contacts, we wanted to hold an event which would specifically appeal to them."
A raffle on the night raised about £600 for children's charity Barnados.
she explained.
"The night was enjoyed by all and as an added bonus, it got everyone in a romantic mood!"
Harrison Clark's Valentine's event was raising money for Barnardo's, the firm's chosen charity of the year in 2006. Approximately £600 was raised from the raffle on the night.
