ON the morning of Saturday, January 28, I was in town, collecting on behalf of the Salvation Army.
It was bitterly cold and a lady who came over to make a donation took pity on me.
She left, but soon returned with a pair of fleecy gloves, which she had bought for me.
My grateful thanks to that lady for her thoughtfulness.
Heartfelt thanks also to all those who gave so willingly on that day and to everyone who supports the Army throughout the year.
Without you we could not carry out the work we do.
God bless you all.
