A RUNNING ambassador came to Worcester as part of his mission to set foot in every county in England.
Mark Dabbs, aged 35, is known as the unofficial ambassador for Walsall in the West Midlands.
In 2005 he successfully visited towns and cities beginning with as many letters of the alphabet as possible. He is now trying to visit all of England's counties.
This week he came to the Guildhall, High Street, Worcester, and met Mayor of Worcester Aubrey Tarbuck - pictured above with Mr Dabbs - who said: "It's great to see somebody connecting places."
He presented Coun Tarbuck with some cufflinks, a book about Walsall's leather industry and a picture of Walsall Bridge as it was in 1908.
Mr Dabbs is a prolific marathon runner. He has run the endurance race worldwide, including in Beijing, Chicago, Melbourne, Moscow, Prague, Paris and Rome and London.
