Women's football:
Leominster 2 Redditch VC 7
Redditch VC put in a strong performance against Leominster to stretch their unbeaten run to seven games.
Although Leominster made it difficult in the early stages, it was VC who had the best opportunities with Livia Turton producing a fine display as she brought the ball out of defence to set up a number of attacks.
It was not long before VC pressure was turned into goals and it was Tara Cook who scored a quick-fire double to give the visitors a comfortable lead.
Claire Compton soon added a third when she was quickest to react to a scramble in the box.
With Redditch in control at the break, it was surprising that they came out sluggish at the start of the second half and allowed Leominster a goal to ease them back into the game.
But VC responded brilliantly and a two-goal burst from Jenna Dedicoat finally finished off their hosts, using her pace to beat the Leominster defence on each occasion.
Dedicoat then completed her hat-trick with a brilliant turn and flick past the stranded keeper. Lyndsey Ross completed the scoring with a debut goal.
Leominster netted again late on but VC's good all-round display earned them another three points to take them up to fifth in the league.
Louise Richardson's first goal of the season was a mere consolation as Studley Reserves suffered a heavy 6-1 defeat at Marston Green.
Studley started sluggishly and were only kept in the game by some excellent goalkeeping by Becky Newman.
The home side went in at the break with a 2-0 lead and added four more in the second half.
