A FUN and interactive look at life in Tudor Worcester was brought to life at Hallow CE Primary School.

Hands On History, a local business, provided a workshop at the school that allowed pupils to dress as Tudors and have a look at everything from games to food. Paul Harding, who runs the business, said: "I like to give local examples when visiting schools around the county. Hallow CE Primary School is lucky to be in Worcester - Elizabeth I visited here in 1575 and gave us the three pears emblem on our coat of arms." Wearing clothes from the period, Mr Harding brought over 100 artefacts with him to give to the children to handle. Children learn so much more when they can hold, touch and smell things," he said. "A picture paints a thousand words." Pictured above from left is Alice Pearson, Paul Harding and Tom Goodman. Picture by Marie Myers. 05529301
