UPTON'S trip to Handsworth resulted in a 13-5 loss and knocked them off the top in the table.
They were under pressure right from the kick-off as Handsworth pounced on the fumbled ball and an unconverted try was scored out wide.
Right on half-time, the Upton hooker Rob Heeley took the ball against the head in a set scrum on the half-way, Brad Raymond collected the ball and raced away, avoiding three covering tackles to score an unconverted try in the corner.
Handsworth followed a similar pattern of play in the second-half and soon scored another unconverted try following a run penalty.
Stourport's match with Chaddesley Corbett had to be abandoned just before half-time because of a serious injury to a Chaddesley player.
The Stourport second team went down to Bromsgrove thirds 44-14.
