TOPICS ranging from death and disease to the archaeology of Bredon Hill will be the subject of a series of talks at the University of Worcester.
Worcester Archaeology Society is holding a series of lectures and anyone interested in digging up local history is invited.
On Thursday, February 23, Malcolm Atkin will discuss Death, Dung and Disease in room G14 between 6pm and 8pm.
On Tuesday, March 7, Mike Glyde will take a look at Aerial Photo-graphy in the Vale of Evesham. The talk will be held in room G14 and begins at 6pm.
On Tuesday, March 21, Victoria Bryant will hold a lecture on Pottery in Romano-British Wor-cester also in room G14, due to start at 7pm.
A careers workshop for members only is due to take place at the university Conference Centre.
At 6pm on Wednesday, May 3, Adam Mindykowski will discuss Landscape and Archaeology of the Wyre Forest in room G16.
On Wednesday, May 17, Deborah Overton will give a talk on the Archaeology of Bredon Hill, also in room G16, to start at 7pm.
The talks cost between £2 and £4 and members of the society can go for free. For more information about the talks, call 01684 567858.
