There will be a coffee morning, with cake and bring-and-buy stalls, from 10am-noon tomorrow (Saturday) at 31 Croft Bank, the home of Heather and David Hayward.

Arranged by the Friends of St James's Church, it will raise funds for the church facilities project, which is now starting to move ahead well, with work expected to start in the spring.

Everyone will be welcome and if the day is fine, one of the bonuses will be the views from the house across the charming garden.

Rehearsals are well forward for the latest production by West Malvern's amateur dramatic company WAMDRAM, which will hit the Village Hall on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 2-4.

The plot summary for Wyrd Sisters reads a bit like "Macbeth through the (broken) Looking Glass" - we are promised bad witches, vile villains and lots of fun!

The play, adapted from a book by Terry Pratchett, was also the subject of an successful animated movie ten years ago. No doubt the WAMDRAM players, led by Sarah Creber, Helen Barker and Kate Wheaton, as the three sisters, will put their own inimitable stamp on it.

Tickets are £5 each. To be sure of a seat on the night of your choice, ring David Matthews on 01684 567328.
