PUPILS at Upton CE Primary School have been enjoying history lessons with a difference.
Worcestershire Records Office archivist Louisa Mann brought in material for them to study over three days this week.
The children learnt about the history of the town from a 1901 census and the school's logbook from 1898-1928 showed how life was different for pupils then.
They even researched their own history by using a microfiche reader to look up local birth records.
Miss Mann said: "The children were really interested. It also enabled me to find out what they enjoy and experience different teaching methods."
Year 5 teacher Sarah Shackles said: "It really inspired the children."
