Upton's annual folk festival will go-ahead this year after all.
Administrative problem had put event in doubt, but organisers say they have found a solution.
They will host a stripped-down 'DIY' festival from Friday to Monday, April 28-May 1.
The biggest difference will be the absence of any concert marquees. However, many favourites will return, including morris processions, ceilidhs and waterfront singalongs.
"We've had some admin problems and we haven't had time to put on a full-blown festival," said organiser Richard Hannah.
Mr Hannah said reduced running costs meant lower prices, with a weekend camping ticket costing £10, including all events.
Barry Kitchin, chairman of Upton Tourism and Trade Association, is delighted the festival is going ahead.
"It's extremely good news," he said. "The folk festival is a brilliant event and it brings a lot of tourism into the town."
Organisers plan to return to the traditional format in coming years.
