WITH reference to your photograph in Malvern Memories (January 27), which showed four people standing outside what was the Belle Vue Hotel. The regency porch doorway is now the entrance to Oliver's wine bar.
I am doing some research on this hotel and have a list of managers from 1816 to its closure in 1933. A Mr H B Tipping was proprietor of the hotel from 1916-1930 and in 1933 it was known as the Residential Hotel Ltd, proprietor Miss E Willis. Although a long time ago, I wonder if any of your readers could forward me any information on this hotel?
